The major objectives of Diploma in Agriculture are following:
- Enable the students to develop technology and means for supporting the farmers
- Help farmers boost their productivity and income
- Building the capacity of students for efficient handling of agricultural inputs

- To make the students an effective source of farm information persona at the village level

- Students will be able to join the public, private, or government sector by pursuing this course of Diploma in Agriculture
- Able to work as Agricultural officer, Agricultural Engineer, Agricultural Inspector and positions alike
- Student will be eligible to run trading business in fertilizers & seed
