Programme Educational Objectives/Goals
- To provide human resource, basic skills of agriculture and technology required for the sustainable livelihood and food security
- To provide integrated education of crop production, agriculture engineering, forestry, agriculture marketing, extension and other allied disciplines
- To undertake research on current and future: opportunities and challenges for developing climate smart crop, cropping system and technologies
- To strengthened and expertise the farmers with sound agriculture skills and knowledge
- To generate appropriate technologies to support sustainable growth of agricultural entrepreneurship and agri-business
- To constantly strive to generate technologies for increasing production, productivity and profitability through interventions in the field of agriculture, agricultural engineering, community science and allied sectors.
- To develop proper communication channel and strategies for the transfer of technology, new government policies and new plant varieties from researcher and government officers to farmers
- To assist in the process of transfer of technology through the dissemination of knowledge in collaboration with the Agriculture and allied Departments of the Government.
