GLOCAL UNIVERSITY ORGANIZED 5 DAYS ANNUAL INTER SCHOOL FEST MERAKI 3.0
Glocal University, Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh has organized Annual Inter School Fest Meraki 3.0 from 01-05 March 2023. The fest was organized by the Department of Student Welfare. The pre-matches of Indoor Games were started from 28th of Feburary 2023 onwards and the final matches of Indoor Games viz. Chess, Carrom and Table Tennis were held on 1st of March 2023 at the Indoor Sports Hall under the supervision of Sports Committee. On 1st of March 2023 the Debate Competition was held at Moot Court of the Glocal Law School.
Opening Ceremony of Annual Inter School Fest Meraki 3.0 was held on 2nd of March 2023. The event was inaugurated by lighting of lamp and felicitation of Chief Guest Mr. Sahab Singh Pundir (young leader of BJP) by Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P. K. Bharti. Thereafter various competitions like Fashion Show, Tug of War, Kabaddi, Story Telling, 2 Minutes To Fame, Rangoli & Mehandi, Hit & Fit, Dance Competition, Volleyball competition, Bazm-e-Tehzeeb (Season-4), Treasure Hunt, Singing and Football competition were organized on third and fourth day.
The Closing Ceremony of Meraki 3.0 was held on 5th of March 2023 was Cultural Night. The program was started by opening remark of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P. K. Bharti. The main motive of Cultural Night was to felicitate all the winners, runner ups and “Megastars of Meraki 3.0”. The award distribution was done with appreciating them by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P. K. Bharti, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar Sharma, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P. K. Mishra, Dean Academics Prof. (Dr.) Promod Kumar,Registrar Prof. (Dr.) R. D. Dwivedi, Campus Director Prof. (Dr.) S. P. Pandey.
Thousands of Students enjoyed the Cultural Night and Rahgvee Band with full of enthusiasm. Cultural Night consisted of several outstanding performances of Indian as well as International students like – Dance performance of Williams on Indian song (Kehte hai humko pyar se India wale), Traditional dance of Kashmir by Indian Students, Drama performance by Gazi & group, Ramp Walk by students of Glocal University and many more outstanding performances. Vote of thanks was given by DSW Ms. Swarnima Singh. The closing ceremony was graced with the presence of senior authorities of the University, Deans, Principals, HoS, HoDs, Faculty Members, non-teaching staff and thousands of Students.
