Saharanpur based Glocal University has been set up by the Ministry of Human Resource Development as the nodal center for virtual laboratories through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT).
On this occasion, Prof. (Dr.) P. K. Bharti, Vice-Chancellor of Glocal University said that virtual labs have proved to be a milestone in understanding mainly experimental subjects. He further said that the COVID-19 pandemic has increased the importance of e-content and digital education.
Dean Academics of the Glocal University and Coordinator of Virtual Lab Nodal Center Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar, said that virtual lab is a tool for distance learning and experimentation which provides enables access to sharing knowledge, data, voice, video, tools and many other resources to the students.
On the occasion of the establishment of the Nodal Center, Glocal University Registrar Prof. (Dr.) R. D. Dwiwedi, Pro V.C. Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Sharma, Pro V.C. Prof. (Dr.) P. K. Mishra, Campus Director Prof. (Dr.) S. P. Pandey congratulated and explained how the virtual-lab would be useful for the students and teachers.
