The Glocal School of Science and Technology at Glocal University recently held its Induction Ceremony 2024 for new students. The purpose of the event was to familiarize new students with the university’s regulations and course details.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by Glocal University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Bharti, and other senior officials. In his address, Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Bharti emphasized the importance of information technology, learning skills, dedication to education, and hard work. He encouraged students to embrace challenges and make the most of future opportunities.
The ceremony also featured congratulatory messages for the newly inducted students by the Glocal University’s Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Sharma, Registrar Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Pandey, and DSW Dr. Swarnima Singh. Dean Mr. Dhananjay Singh Shyamal of the Glocal School of Science and Technology gave insights into the school’s various courses and introduced the faculty members. Chief Proctor Mr. Md. Jamirul Islam briefed students on the university’s disciplinary rules, while Director of Placement Mr. Sunil Kumar discussed placement details and future prospects.
The vote of thanks was delivered by Assistant Professor Mr! Sufiyan Mirza. The event was attended by Dr. Hishamuddin, Mr. Shiv Kumar Singh, Ms. Wajiha Khan, Ms. Ankita Garg, Ms. Sheba, Mr. Faraz Khan, Mr. Mohammad Nafees, Mr. Lalit Kumar, Mohammad Farhan, along with heads of various departments, other faculty members, and a large number of students.
