GLOCAL COLLEGE OF NURSING AND RESEARCH CENTRE ORGANIZED A FRESHER’S AND FAREWELL PARTY ‘’AAGAZ’’
Glocal College of Nursing And Research Centre organized a fresher’s and farewell party ‘’AAGAZ’’ on 22.12.2022 under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Bharti, Vice Chancellor, Glocal University. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Chief Guests Pro-Vice Chancellors Prof. Satish Kumar Sharma and Prof. Dr. Pankaj Mishra, Dr. R.D. Dwivedi, Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar, Dean (Academics) and Prof. Dr. S.P. Pandey,Campus Director.
The whole programme was organized by students and faculties of the Nursing Department under the guidance of Dr. Roshan Lal Kahar- Principal, Glocal College of Nursing and Research Centre and Vice Principal- Mr. Himanshu Massey.
The purpose of AAGAZ is to welcome new students in a friendly atmosphere and to encourage their creativeness to boost their confidence. It is a day where senior and junior students bond and unite to celebrate being a part of the college.
As a trend, the programme started with a welcome note by the host followed by lamp lighting and prayers to Maa Saraswati. The dignitaries were felicitated by presenting bouquets as a token of love and respect. Prof. Satish Kumar Sharma, Pro Vice Chancellor Glocal University addressed the students with gracious words. Dr. Pankaj Kumar Mishra, Pro Vice Chancellor- Glocal University blessed and encouraged the students with enlightening words and quotes.
The students showcase their talent through various performances like dancing, singing and poetry. Freshers and final year students performed a ramp walk. The students were given different tasks to perform and judges also asked some tricky questions from the final contestants. Dr. Atika Bano, Dean- Glocal Law School, Mrs. Swarnima Singh, Dean Student Welfare, Mr. Waseem, English Trainer were in the judgement panel. On the basis of judgement made by judges, Mr. Danish and Ms. Sahiba from B.sc 1st yr & ANM 1st yr were titled as Mr. and Miss Fresher, Mr. Shadab & Ms. Muskan from GNM 3rd yr & ANM final yr were titled as Mr. and Miss Farewell. Mr. Haris was chosen as Best Personality and Mr. Vinit took the entire spark as he was titled Spark of the Evening.Refreshments were distributed to the students during the programme.The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
