On 23rd January 2025, Glocal University, Saharanpur, celebrated the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose with great enthusiasm and active participation from students across all colleges and departments. The event was held in the Seminar Room of the Unani College. The occasion provided a platform to honor the legacy of one of India’s greatest leaders through various engaging activities.
The program commenced with an introductory address by Dr. Mohd Kalim, Associate Professor, who emphasized the importance of Netaji’s sacrifices and ideals. He encouraged students to draw inspiration from his leadership and actively participate in the planned activities.
A series of competitions and discussions were organized, allowing students to showcase their talents and reflect on the life of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. The activities included:
- Brief Presentation on Netaji’s Life: A session highlighting his contributions and vision.
- Essay Writing Competition: The topic, “Leadership Lessons from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose,” saw enthusiastic participation from students of various disciplines.
- Discussion on Netaji’s Ideals and Contributions: A thought-provoking exchange of ideas among students.

The event was skillfully conducted by Mr. Dilip Kumar, Assistant Professor, who served as the Faculty Coordinator for the occasion.
