In a recent job fair organized by Glocal University in Saharanpur, 811 students from 40 educational institutions participated in the registration process. Out of these, 35 students successfully secured employment, and 46 students have been selected for the second round of interviews, with annual packages reaching up to a maximum of 7.5 lakhs.

The “Mega Placement Drive” was organized at Glocal University in Saharanpur, featuring the active participation of students from various educational backgrounds. The university’s Placement Cell and Service Office conducted interviews on Saturday during the job fair, resulting in the selection of 35 students who were offered job contracts. The selected candidates were presented with appointment letters on the spot, and they received job offers with annual packages of up to 7.5 lakhs. The faces of the successful candidates were filled with joy and satisfaction. The job fair resulted in job placements with annual packages ranging from 2.80 lakhs to 7.5 lakhs.
Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Bharti, the Vice Chancellor of Glocal University, congratulated the selected candidates and highlighted the active involvement of representatives from 15 private companies spanning different sectors. Companies such as Tech Mahindra, Medanta, Paytm, MQAS, Ebix Cash, Planet Spark, Hike EDU, IDS, Concentrix, Panacea Smart Solutions, Collabera and Data Soft among others conducted campus placements during the drive.
Mr. Sunil Kumar, the Director of Placement Cell and Service Office at Glocal University, shared that the job fair witnessed participation not only from Glocal University students but also from students of ICFAI University, Dehradun, Shakumbhari Devi University, Saharanpur, JV Jain Degree College, Uttaranchal University, Quantum University, Roorke Institute of Technology and other educational institutions.
Mohammad Waseem, the Training and Placement Officer at Glocal University, mentioned that another significant job fair is scheduled for April 2024, featuring opportunities in Software, Digital Marketing, Networking, Pharmaceutical Companies, Hotels And Restaurants, Telecom Companies, Private Banks and Publishing Institutions.
During the event, congratulations and best wishes were extended to the selected candidates by Glocal University’s Pro Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Sharma, Pro Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Mishra, Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Pandey, and Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar.
