Glocal University Celebrates 75th Republic Day with Enthusiasm
Glocal University celebrated the 75th Republic Day with great enthusiasm. The programme commenced at the Central Plaza Lawn of the Glocal University, where the national flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest, Mr. Sanjay Nirmal, National Secretary BJP SC Morcha/In-charge Uttar Pradesh State BJP SC Morcha along with the Vice Chancellor of the Glocal University, Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Bharti. The National Anthem was sung by all present at the flag hoisting ceremony.
The event was attended by dignitaries including Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Sharma, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Mishra, Dean Academic Affairs Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar, Campus Director and Registrar (I/C) Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Pandey, CFO Mr. A.K. Singh, Dean Vocational Studies Dr. Reshma Tahir, IQAC Director Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kumar, and Heads of various departments. In the subsequent phases of the ceremony, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Bharti and Chief Guest Mr. Sanjay Nirmal addressed the gathering. Cultural programmes presented by students mesmerized everyone present.
During the event, meritorious students from each program of Glocal University were felicitated by Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Bharti and Chief Guest Mr. Sanjay Nirmal. In his address, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) P.K. Bharti extended Republic Day greetings to the entire staff and students of the university, remarking on the university’s continued progress. Chief Guest Mr. Sanjay Nirmal, in his speech, paid tribute to the sacrifices of freedom fighters, expressing perpetual gratitude towards them. The vote of thanks for the event was delivered by DSW Mrs. Swarnima Singh. The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem followed by the distribution of sweets to all attendees.
