The Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Ph.D.) is a program for students interested in diverse research areas such as:

• After completing the Ph.D program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, the candidate can opt research as his/her career through employment in Pharmaceutical Industry (R&D), Herbal Industry, Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Teaching & Research, Research Institutes/Organizations.

The program deals with the research in recent advancements in pharmaceutical sciences. Due emphasis is given on society driven and need based research in emerging areas of pharmaceutical sciences viz. Pharmacogenomics, Experimental Therapeutics, Nanotechnology, Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Molecular Pharmacology, Formulation Development, Herbal Drug Technology, Phytopharmacology, Drug Design and Drug Discovery; through in vivo, in vitro and in silico studies. Qualified and experienced faculty members are available in different streams to extend the expertly guidance to the research scholars.

Admission Criteria

• Passed M. Pharm. from Glocal University or any other institution recognised by PCI in the relevant subject with atleast 55% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade
• 1Candidate having M.Sc. degree in Clinical Research with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade shall be eligible to be considered for admission to Ph.D. programme in pharmacology subject to the condition that he/she possesses B.Pharm. degree.
• Appeared in the Entrance Test/Interview or both conducted by Glocal University.
