He was the Head of the Delhi corporate and institutional relationship team and was responsible for managing a loan portfolio of USD 490 mln spread over 100 relationships and drove the portfolio strategy to generate maximum economic profit on the Banks economic capital.

2001 - 2002 ABN AMRO Bank N.V. New Delhi - Assistant Vice President, Credit Structuring

He has met revenue targets consistently and was responsible for managing a credit portfolio of various prestigious institutional accounts such as Ranbaxy, Dabur, Ballarpur Industries Ltd. and Hero Honda Motors each with large Bank exposures.

1998 -2001 ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Calcutta (Kolkata) - Senior Relationship Manager

He has independently managed a portfolio of corporate accounts with an objective to grow business income of the Branch.

1992 - 1998 HSBC Calcutta(Kolkata) - Credit Manager

He was responsible for analysing financial and credit risk of the Banks existing and prospective corporate clients with a view to recommending and reviewing appropriate credit facilities for sanction. The job involved a thorough business and industry analysis for over eighty corporate accounts.

1990 - 1992 Standard Chartered Bank Calcutta (Kolkata) - Manager, Local Currency Group

He has managed a portfolio of INR 1 billion funds of investible surpluses of corporate clients in a fiduciary capacity for the Bank. The funds were invested in a mix of Government securities and corporate paper to provide an attractive return to the customer.

1990 Citibank Mumbai (Bombay) - Assistant Manager

He has worked in the area of processing transactions for inter Bank and client deals in Government Securities and Public Sector Bonds.

Mr. Ray has experience in selling a wide range of banking products spanning from foreign exchange, transaction banking, corporate finance, and equity and debt capital markets over the last fourteen years.
