Ayurveda Day 2024 at Glocal University was celebrated under the visionary leadership of honorable Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr ) P.K. Bharti in two phases with a focus on promoting awareness and appreciation of Ayurveda’s contributions to global health. With the theme “Ayurveda Innovation for Global Health,” Pro Vice Chancellor (Ayush) Prof (Dr.) John Fin be and Dean Students ‘Welfare Dr. Swarnima Singh organise the event included various activities to engage students and community members, fostering a deeper understanding of traditional medicine and health practices. The event began with an enthusiastic “Run for Ayurveda,” promoting physical wellness and Ayurvedic lifestyle practices. A Rangoli competition was held, where participants showcased Ayurvedic themes through creative designs, symbolizing cultural richness and holistic health. After Rangoli Competition students participated in a poster-making competition to visually express the role of Ayurveda in global health and innovation. A quiz competition tested participants’ knowledge of Ayurveda, its principles, and health benefits, encouraging learning through engagement. Winners of the competitions were recognized in an award ceremony, celebrating their contributions to the event where Pro Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr.) S.K. Sharma and Registrar Ms. Shivani Tiwari praised the students for their active participation. In the second phase of Ayurveda Celebration a traditional Hawan & Pooja was conducted to honor Ayurvedic practices, emphasizing mental and spiritual health. A health camp offered free consultations and Ayurvedic treatments, providing practical exposure to Ayurveda’s impact on holistic health. The Ayurveda Day 2024 celebrations at Glocal University successfully engaged students, faculty, and the community in a variety of activities that highlighted Ayurveda’s role in promoting global health. The event demonstrated a blend of cultural appreciation, educational engagement, and practical health benefits, aligning with the theme and objectives of Ayurveda Day.
